Leap Into Books Giveaway Hop

Contests, Food For Thought, Random

I’m hopping on board and joining the Leap Into Books Giveaway Hop. Hosted by  I Am A Reader, Not a Writer and Jinky is Reading (Thanks bunches for hosting another fantastic, book-filled hop!), I’m giving one lucky winner a chance to win FIVE (5!) books.

Why so many this time around? Well because four are a complete series, and one is a bonus that is somewhat related to the series.

Want to know what’s up for grabs?

One lucky winner will win:

The Twilight Series in its entirety. The four books – Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn are all used books. They have been loved, and are looking for a new home to love them. They are in great condition. Twilight and New Moon are paperback, and Eclipse and Breaking Dawn are hardcover.

(Please don’t mind the background of the picture!)

Along with the four books I’m also giving away a copy of Nightlight: A Parody. It’s a new copy, but has (very) minor shelf wear.

Entering is simple: comment on this post, and this post alone. Comment telling me anything – about the giveaway, your love/hate for Twilight, anything at all.

The Fine Print –

Contest is open to any U.S. Citizen 13 years or older. Hop will run from midnight on February 29th to 11:59 p.m. on March 5th. One winner will be selected on March 6th via random generator (Random.org), and will be informed via e-mail. With that said, PLEASE MAKE SURE TO INCLUDE AN E-MAIL ADDRESS THAT IS CURRENT AND CHECKED OFTEN. Winner will have two days to claim prize and forward shipping address. Winner must respond to email by 11:59 p.m. on March 8th. If information is not received by this point another winner will be selected.

Last, but not least, please make sure to stop by the other participating blogs! There are some great prizes up for grabs!

  1. While I didn’t hate Twilight, I also didn’t think it was the best thing since sliced bread. I did however, thoroughly enjoy it. And I’m all in on any book that gets kids reading!

  2. I read and enjoyed the books, and I would love to actually own them. I’m a college student so I can’t afford to go out and buy lots of books, luckily for me all of my friends own Twilight so it was easy for me to get a hold of them and read them all. It’d be cool to be able to re-read them anytime I wanted, instead of trying to pester a friend about it.

    Thanks!!

  3. The frick. I had a comment and it didn’t go through. I would like to own this series. I had to borrow from my library when I wanted to read it, and it’s one of those series I wouldn’t mind re-reading sometimes.
    Thanks for the giveaway.

  4. I am such a fan of these books that I have a Twilight car all decked out in Twilight. Odd ? Yes! but when something lands in your heart you just have to express it somehow. Great giveaway and thanks for the chance.

  5. You should read and watch Howl’s Moving Castle(:
This is not related to Twilight at all, but you said anything, and that is my current extreme favorite book 😀
Some other good books are Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder, Moon Called by Patricia Briggs, Incarnate by Jodi Meadows, Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor, Divergent by Veronica Roth, Graceling by Kristin Cashore, Eon by Allison Goodman, and Goose Girl by Shannon Hale. Again, this has almost nothing to do with the post, but I am rather bored 😛

    Thanks!

  6. Wohooo! My daughter and I are both huge Twilight fans. My daughter has a reading disability so it takes her a long time to read. She has yet to make it through the first book but she keeps plugging away at it. We would love this!

  7. I am not afraid to admit that I am a Twilight freak but for some reason I don’t own the series yet! I borrowed it from a co-worker of mine a couple of years ago and just never bought it. Winning it would be AMAZING. Thank you for the chance at this giveaway!! Great blog! ❤

  8. How neat!!! I’m one of the few people that has never read any of the books in the series or seen any of the movies. I’d love to win this and change that.

  9. I am very intrigued with the Twilight series! I’ve never read the books or seen the movies & I would LOVE to do both! I think it’s interesting that Volvo is the official car of the Twilight movies (really? They couldn’t pick a more ‘youthful’ car line?).

    Thanks for the giveaway!

  13. What an easy giveaway! Thanks! I read part of the first book in the series and didn’t love it (I am a big Anne Rice fan). My co-author read them and enjoyed them. She told me to stop comparing the vampire worlds that Rice creates to these. If I win- I will give the series another try. 🙂

  15. Thanks so much for the generous giveaway 🙂
I’ve seen all but the Breaking Dawn movies and enjoyed them. The setting is so gorgeous and atmospheric. Reading the series is on my TBR list.

  16. Love the Twilight books! I remember reading the first one. Didn’t think I’d love it or give into the craze. after reading the first one went out and bought the second one. Then had to go and immediately buy the third. And then rush out to get the fourth. I’m actually thankful I started reading them late and had them all available for purchase as soon as I wanted and didn’t have to wait for them to be published later!
    Thanks for the giveaway!!

  17. Fantastic giveaway! Twilight is what started me reading again as an adult. (I mean for entertainment, not a required college class reading) Thanks for the chance to win!

  18. I was not a huge fan of twilight, As i was coming from reading every Anne Rice novel. But, my daughter looks forward to the novels. I agree; anything that encourages reading in children is wonderful. Later in life they can make their own decisions on what they deem to be worthy of rating! That’s the loveliness of literature!

  19. While I do not think the Twilight series is the best I have ever read, it has certainly been entertaining. I have enjoyed the movies and it amazes me at how true to the books they have been, in my mind. I have not heard of the parody Nightlight and my curiosity is definitely peaked. While I have read the Twilight series, I do know some young ladies that would love to have these books to share and pass around what a better way to share joy than with a fun read. Thank you for your generous participation in this fun hop 🙂
