The Book

Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins

Guys, you know I adore this book. I’ve read it 9 times in 4 years! I have like 6 different copies/versions of it myself. I HAVE in fact bought it for a gift numerous times and have lent it out to friends. You can get a better feel good contemporary than Anna and the French Kiss.

The Extras

Macarons

http://www.payard.com/12-Piece-Parisian-Macarons-_p_535.html

There is a scene in the book where Meredith and Anna go and buy macarons. The descriptions used in the book make you crave the tiny pastry miracles of deliciousness. Figure I will save my giftee the trouble and give them some.

Canadian/American Flag Pin

Anna has a huge hang-up about being American in Paris. She is taught by a very smart boy that she is being silly and he does it in an adorable way. Making my gift recipient fit right in.

Movie Tickets

My girl Anna is a movie buff. She loves going to the cinema and seeing any and all films. I would totally give movie tickets in my Anna themed gift.

Left-Handed Notebook

http://www.amazon.com/Left-Handed-Always-Subject-Notebook/dp/B004U5XLUW/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1417548770&sr=8-9&keywords=left+handed+notebooks&tag=polyvore006-20

With the love the cinema, Anna also writes film reviews. She is always taking notes on the movies she sees. And since she is left-handed she sometimes has trouble with spirals and spines. It’s only fitting to give a left-handed notebook.

Anna quote Tank Top

This tank top says it all. I don’t need to say why this is part of the gifts at all. (PS, I LOVE MINE!!!!)
