For quite sometime I’ve been toying with the idea of starting a weekly meme. As I was brainstorming I thought it would be fun to host this weekly blog feature with someone else. So I e-mailed fellow blogger and in real life bff Miss Print to see if she would be interested, and guess what!? She was. In fact, to my surprise Miss Print already had a great idea, called:
Memory Mondays is a super easy and super fun meme where Miss Print and I are asking participants to post a picture of a book that holds a special place in their hearts. We’re asking participants to, not only post a picture, but talk briefly about why that book is special to you. Was it your first signed book? Is it a book that changed you in some way? Was it a book you picked up on a whim and discovered that it was your most favorite book?
So now that you know how this meme works all you need to know is how to participate. Every week Miss Print and I will be posting our own Monday Memories, and both of our posts will include a link list where participants can link up their blogs. Anyone and everyone is welcome to join in on the fun. For those participants who will be blogging their Monday Memories all we ask is that you A) enter your blog url on the link list and B) link back to Miss Print’s and/or The BookBandit’s Blog within their post. If you are participating and do not have a blog, simply comment on the Monday Memory post!
Monday Memories was created because of our love of books. Both Miss Print and I are book collectors, and if you know us you know we’re always talking about those books. We want the chance to share those books that are so special to us. We want the chance to hear all about what books are special to you. We hope you’ll participate, and that you’ll have as much fun with this meme as us.
Note: The above image was created by me using PicMonkey specifically for the purposes of Monday Memories. Participants, please feel free to create your own image. Or if you want, you can use the above image. All I ask is that you give credit where credit is due.
